I had a fun time reading this book and learning the history that was not really shown in other forms of media.
The book addresses many of the issues that we face today. It gives insight on how the government and those in power shames LGBTQ+ members not out of religion or morals, but to keep people down and oppressed. Through out the book, it goes down the history of LGBTQ+ people that have existed whether they were standing up, or using it to uplift others.
This book gave me a better understanding of the topic LGBT+ topics and made me more confident when it comes to defending them and continuing their history.
