Editor’s Note: President- Elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration fueled hundreds of protests across the the country and worldwide that will culminate on Saturday morning with Women’s Marches in major cities. Afraid he will follow suit with his campaign promises, leaders and young people throughout California organized actions in an effort to be heard, #StayLoud, and showcase their power. In Merced, while the Merced County Sheriff’s Posse attended the inauguration, dozens of people hit the streets to display their discontent with Trump’s election and pledge to protect the dignity of the people of Merced. Below, We’Ced team members share a a powerful chant and message to Trump.
